Physiology of Muscle contraction
The physiological concept of muscle contraction is based on two variables: length and tension.
Contraction of muscle occurs with the help of contractile proteins. Actin and myosin are the contractile filaments present in the skeletal muscles, which helps in the contraction of a muscle.
